My grandmother was Emily Burton she was born in June 1883, she married Henry Cornelius Trahearn at All Saints Aston, Birmingham in Sept 1905 and went on to have 11 children. At the 1901 ensus she was listed as living in Aston, B'ham as a laundry maid. My mum is the only child left and knows nothing about Emily other than she thinks she had a sister called Lizzie. Any help would be great.

On the 1901 census Emily is living with Thomas and Sarah Coates.

Sarah was Emily's sister.

Thomas married Sarah Burton Dec Qtr. 1893 Aston

On the 1901 Sarah (Emily's sister) was born in Worcester.

The 1881 census shows

William Burton age 38 Bricklayers Labourer Born Worcester
Julia age 36 born Martley

Ellen L born 1871 Worcester
Sarah J born 1874 Worcester
Martha born 1878 Birmingham
Wiliam born Birmingham
