I can find no trace of the deaths of Alfred and Nellie yet am almost certain they died in Birmingham.  Trouble is I don't know the years of their deaths.  I believe Alf died between the years of approx 1930-45 and Nellie approx 1943-47.  They lived in Rosalie Road and their eldest child was called Arthur, I believe. They had several children including Tess, Win, Reg, John, Nora, Doris and Marj. Can anyone help me please?

After years of searching without success for the deaths of my grandparents, Nellie and Alf, I'm pleased to say it was dud information that prevented me from finding them. Mum was never very clear about when Nellie died and had no idea at all when Alf passed away. I've now approached Birmingham City Council's Genealogist, who did a search and BOTH of them died the same year, which was nowhere near where I had been searching. At last, I've found them. There is a charge, of course, but as far as I was concerned, it was well worth it. If anyone else wants to try the Council's link I am posting it in the LINKS section of the site.
