Bulls Head

Hi John

Thanks very much - pity its disappeared. It was run by an ancestor of mine, Fank Lakin, who died there in 1901 at the young age of 27.

The Bulls Head in 1912 after it had been rebuilt. Serving Cheshire’s Ales (Smethwick). There’s what looks like a shop premises incorporated into the pub premises (behind the men standing by the lamppost - right). Maybe this was an off-licence? Viv.
