Re: john bullock prison sentence

Hi morris the central library in Birmingham do keep some records on the shelf with these old court cases going back years
And some faces as well with the mug SHOTTS and as to why and how long they got of. A sentence
But it is time consuming to go through these shelfs but I believe there is another floor but you need a pass and an appointment
To go and browse I think there is one or two of our members could confirm to you about I have told you
I know they are in the 1800 s to early 1900s and in those days there was what called the quarter sessions hold every 3 months
I know there is some quarter sessions in those books as I have read them my self quite area years back now
Even the toughest judge Michael arglie cases are listed all the crimms hoped against all odds they never got him to appear before him
Thesecrimms would get a. Telegram the night before by the justice minister of police or there solicitors
So I suggest if you can get your self to the library is all I can suggest to you unless there is any older sibling whom may hold historic memories
Of such an period best wishes astonian
