Help!!! I saw a thread earlier about the above his Son Frank Robert Bruce was married to My great aunt. Now Im lost. He was a Brassfounder and must have done rather well for him self because they ended up in Edgbaston. However the main person im trying to track down is George Frederick Gee who was my grandfather and was last seen in 1925. He was born in Aston by the way.

george frederick gee was living at 714 coventry rd. small heath from 1925 to 1939
in 1925 there was also mildred emily and frederick ronald gee at the address
in 1930 there was also mildred emily, edward john and charlotte irene at the address
in 1935 there was also henry george and charlotte irene at the address
in 1939 there was also henry george gee and nellie latham at the address

So was he married to Mildred? Do you know who his parents were? I do im just checking to see if it is the same GF Gee because i have been looking for him for years!!!

It sounds like it might not be my GF Gee. He was born in Aston in 1878. However he married my grandmother in Brighton in 1916. During WW1. But he walked out around 1924/25 after the death of their daughter. and they never saw him again.

yes i think you are right it must be a different gf gee. there is a george frederick gee in 1911 age 32 single working as a tailor. he was brother in law to thomas george molineux hairdresser living in edgbaston.

georges sisters mary maud and cecilia harriet molineux nee gee were also at the address. you may already have this info.

Funny enough their names popped up a few days ago. I was begining to think my Grand Father was a Bigamist. But he was so linked to his brother-in-law Frank Robert Bruce, that when he died suddenly at 36 he liked to be called Frank from then on and My Dad's middle name was Frank. So I think I will have to pursue him through the Bruce Line.

Thanks I went back and managed to locate it myself. I messaged the other person regarding the connection. But as yet have not heard anything.
