Hi kember
Benny was sacked from the broad way as I recall all those years ago I do not know where he weren't to after but I do know a couple of guys
Whom will know but they ain't members of this forum and a guy named Sean Clancy from the old new tree took over for awhile
And he eventually moved out to the cross guns kings heath high street for a couple of years then he was moved on again
By the brewery to the old custurd house Blake lane bordesley. Green for awhile
He had big trouble there and he was beaten badly and broken legs and then the brewery took him out of managements of
The pubs and main him A team manager travelling up and around the country
Sean and Benny I knew very well as I was in the same grouping for the brewery and we all went to Dublin
There was about thirty of us manager was sent to Dublin and see how or what we could learn from the Irish keeping pubs
But what and how they run there pubs would never work over here in england so it was an useless exercise
We was there for two weeks and we got to get plenty of Guinness and Irish whisky drinking
I will try and dig out the group photo of us all on there in the Guinness factory behind there bars
If I get to see the guys over the week end I will asked them if they know where he may have landed up
He was a nice guy but theatre was some kind of trouble that weren't down at the Broadway and it was closed down for awhile
So Sean went in he was a big man,Sean and tough but it was up against a certain click of well known gang in brum
Which includes a boxer well known man whom family done it to him ,
I cannot tell you there name but I will tell you in one of my pubs I had them taken out by police and carted of to Steele house lane
End of. My story I could say more but its best left sleeping dogs lay as they say
I was never attacked by any yobs or gangs during my rein cos I could handle myself but the city police of central are on the ball
They have a great team as I said I could say more but I will not
Have a good day best wishes Astonian,,,,,,,
