No. 2 Patience BROADHEAD. She married Henry Luckett... I believe.

In the 1881 Census:
Person: LUCKETT, Patience
Address: 2, Geelong Place, Birmingham

Patience Luckett is the wife of Henry and she appears to have been born c. 1856 at Ten Hall (?), Birmingham.

I believe there is an area known as :Ten Hall Street, Birmingham, B18 6BN. Is it likely to be the same place as listed in the 1881 Census?

I am also trying to establish what were the names of Patience Broadhead's parents.


No. 1 Patience BROADHEAD born 18 May1836, dau. of John BROADHEAD and Sarah (H)Anson. She was baptised 2 Mar 1837 (IGI information). She married William SMITH in Sep Qtr 1855, District: Aston Vol. 6d Page 260.

In my family tree, I've also added a second dau. named Patience to John BROADHEAD and Sarah Hanson born 1838 and baptised 2 Mar 1839. I cannot establish from my records If I've duplicated the IGI information and made a typo with the date or just where the second Patience bc.1838 comes from. Can anyone help me sort out these Patience BROADHEADs..... please.

Although there is a submitted entry for a birth in 1837,Birmingham to a John and Sarah Broadhead

Thank you for your reply. Re the 1841 Census: the Patience Broadhead listed there (dau. of John and Sarah) she married William Smith. All I need to do now is find WHO the other Patience Broadhead is ... the one who married Henry Luckett.

Hi there,I don't know whether this will help or not!
The Patience Luckett from 1891 census is living at 52 Wellhead Lane,some 20 years later,with her daughter Lydia and son-in-law Joseph Curtis and granddaughter Hilda Lydia.
She states she is a widow and was born Wolverhampton,Staffordshire.(Joseph and Lydia had been married 4 years)

I suggest that you may have to get the Luckett Marriage cert' for more information on this one... as I can't find a birth on Free BND only the marriage....
