The c1902 map below shows the British United Clock Co works, mislabelled as "Lock Works", It had been there since the mid 1890s, but in 1911 became the Daisy Vacuum Cleaner Co works, and was largely destroyed in a large fire in 1914
The British Museum web-site gives the following information on the company: "The British United Clock Company was formed in 1885 by Edward Davies, (formerly Superindendant of works for Ansonia in the USA). He set up a factory in Birmingham, England. The company closed in 1909." Here are some examples of their rather nice clocks:
