I'm looking now for someone who specialises in the Calthorpe estate and can help with when 213 Bristol Road house was built, and who leased it first. It seems to have been 101 Bristol Road until the late 1880's.
I have it's history from around 1855 onwards and know it was built in the 1830's, 1840's.
I know Birmingham library has a lot of info but it's a minefield to navigate through, and I don't live close by.
Any ideas?
Does anyone know if Terry Slater is still around as he specialised in Edgbaston?
