My grandfather was George Briscoe (1891-1972), married Clarissa Jones in 1918. Address on marriage certificate was Hockley Street, Birmingham.

I can't find him in the 1901 census and although I know his father was George Briscoe (1871-1909) and mother Matilda Berrow (c1871-1907), I have no idea whether he had any siblings.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you John, yes I have his birth certificate. I've ordered my great-grandparents death certificates in the hope that one of my grandad's siblings registered his death. Fingers crossed :smile2:
