Bowen George

ray@28beech

knowlegable brummie
My father, George Bowen, was born 21.2.1919 at 196 High Street, Erdington.
He grew up in Evesham, with relatives, but met my mother in Birmingham and they married here 26.7.1946. How can I find out when he came to Birmingham and where he would have lived?
Any help would be appreciated,
Many thanks,
Sue.

Re: George Bowen

i see that on the 1945 electoral roll theres a george bowen with living with the hudson family at 74 manor farm rd. then in 1950 still with members of hudson family and with wife annie bowen.

in 1955 just george and annie bowen at 112 millington rd. george would not be eligible to vote before the 1945 records.

Re: George Bowen

Yes, Mom was Annie Hudson and at the time of their marriage they both lived with my grandparents at 74 Manorfarm Road in Greet., but I've never known why he came back to Birmingham from Evesham or where he lived.
