I will let you know about where as soon as I can find something out Alan but I do not believe it helpful to try to combine separate events into an 'Arsonist at Large' theory when there has been no suggestion that this is the case.

This from the Birmingham Mail:

Fire crews tackled blaze at an industrial estate for more than 12 hours in Birmingham.
The fire broke out at Whitworth Industrial Park, Tilton Road, Bordesley, just after 6pm last night .
West Midlands Fire Service sent 14 crews who used specialist equipment and spent more than 12 hours trying to bring the fire, which eventually spread to an area of 100 metres by 100 metres, under control.
Nearby Garrison Lane was also closed to traffic from 7pm to 12.15am to allow crews to access water supplies.
No one was hurt but Highgate station commander Mark Clifton said, around half a dozen propane and butane gas cylinders exploded during the incident.
Commander Clifton said: “It was one of the worst fires we had seen in a while. Gas cylinders exploded which made it very dangerous.
“The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.”
Commander Clifton said one of the units was used to repair cars while another was in use as a powder coatings unit.
