I watched the game on the edge of my seat. We hammered them for the first 10 minutes, and then did nothing till the last 10. But it shows the fighting spirit that exists in the side now. Thats been sadly missing for years. WELL DONE BLUES.

thanks very much chris...just played it for steve and hes singing his head off...mind you he and our kim enjoyed it down the blues today and ive now got a headache lol...

Dear,Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear!!!!! You're all B***dy Blue Noses. Never Mind I forgive you. After all, it was a Villa old boy that did the job for you today. ............Eh Eh Eh

At least you're not a blue nose Lyn. I like you even more now. LOL

PS consider a few smileys after my post. They've disapeared from my message box.

I don't get to see them very much but saw the game against Totenham last week. They kept plugging away and finally got the equaliser and well worth the point. But two missed easy goals ow ow ow. One I could have scored myself. It could easilly have been 3-1. I'm cheering for them.

Good result for the Blues. I travelled from London this morning opposite a Blues supporter and he kindly offered to move seats to allow two tourists to sit together. What a Gent.

Last night I was at a house in London surrounded by Spurs and Arsenal supporters - you could have heard a pin drop ;)

I think Martin O'Neill let him go, because he thought Phillips wouldn't fit in with the 'LONG BALL' game Martin wanted to adopt.

PHILIPS,RIDGEWELL. GARDENER, But for the state of the pitch I thought I was at VILLA PARK.
Well done you BLUE NOSES.
NICE TO SEE YOU NOW HAVE YOUR OWN TOPIC Lol

I'd realy like to say that I'm extreamly pleased that the blues are doing so well........... I just can't bring myself to actually say it.

Lyn. IM IN SHOCK. Ive been talking to you now for 2 years, and I never realised you where a BAGGIE !!! Its a good job us Blue-noses dont harbour any grudges. But Im sure this revelation wont spoil our meeting this Saturday. I still look forward to seeing you.

Thought I''d better show that we are not all hiding after defeat!
Followed the game on BBC and Sky simultaneously (no visuals). Sick as a parrot!

As any Wolves supporter of long standing will know (and I've been standing the Wolves for 52 years), if Wolves are 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go, you can count on a score draw on your pools coupon! Today, I always felt that they needed a 2nd goal but still deserved a point. We must "keep right on to the end of the road" or we will "go a-wandering" back to the Championship.
Our next 3 home games - Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd!!!

Dave. I really thought the game was yours. We started well, and then died until the final few minutes. Dont fancy your chances of getting much from your next 3 games though.

Its an amazing ain,t it how they always scrape through
to what i heared on the highlights of the match and seeing the clips
it was just that old black magic of luck that the blues have they may have a money man tycoon but he will be on his way after a season or two
just like brady and goldie money down the coventry road drain
they only just won by the skin of there teeth and it took one of our old boys to bail them out , i think they have got to many trevour francis,s
they want to be the man of the match a one man team player like he used to be
never passedwhen he got the ball whatching the blues play is like watching
paint dry come to the villa ground boys and learn some think
whatch the proffessinals so lady luck was on there side again , dear . dear .
the wolves should have won .
there

Went to the match (obviously) and thought like Bazz that other than the first 15 mins and the last 10 we were second best. But then when I got home I watched it on Sky as I'd recorded it and was surprised that we weren't as bad as I thought. And it wasn't highlights it was the whole game.
We were all saying when Gardner and Super Kev came on there was only one team going to win, and they weren't wearing gold and black!
PS Loved the look on McCarthy's face after the game.

Beamish tells me the Villa are going to win on Wednesday any one else like to give me a score????

Dear me Astonian, what was that "Villa Professionals". Villa were the lucky ones, to come home with a point from Spurs. They were abysmal.
