Family History Research Ltd have a CD of old maps of Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire on one CD. These are high quality PDF scans by Archive CD books and included are maps of Birmingham in 1879, 1895, 1905 and 1913. Could I enquire of John as to the scale of these maps. It isn't made clear on the website

Mike

I will need to check the scale and get back to you.

Sorry for the delay. I have now checked the Birmingham Maps. When viewed at 100% in Acrobat Reader the scale appears to be 1/4 mile to an inch. Using the zoom function it is possible to enlarge most of the maps without loss of readability.
