Could any body help me I'm looking for photos of Birmingham City football club and the construction of St Andrews thank you.

This one says it was opened in December 1906 - but perhaps this was a rebuild:-

Is there truth to the fact it was built on the site of a rubbish tip? As a Villa fan I could say a lot at this point, but I won't.........

I believe that it was built on the site of a brickworks Mark. As far as the rubbish was concerned, it was used to create height for the terracing on the Coventry Road side of the ground. The club offered the site as a tip and local people paid a total of £800 to dump an estimated 100,000 loads of rubbish. Here is the site of the ground prior to it being built:
