For those with an Ancestry account this record appears in the Birmingham Library collection.

Search parameters are: William Holmes b.1820. Parents:- John and Susanna.

should also find it.

Perhaps it was a 'BOGOF' day as they had 4 'done' at the same time.:peaceful:

The fourth entry shows an Abode as Bromsgrove Street but the 1st entry shows an Abode in Worcester - but I can't read it.:dispirited: The 2nd and 3rd are 'ditto' the 1st.

Any suggestions please.

Stourport :smug:

Thanks, I'd considered Stourport but...... can't really see it. It certainly seems to end in __port.

If a Public Tree is to believed then the father, John Holmes (1791) was born in Claines, not far from Worcester.

I'm still open to suggestions.
