Better Late Than Never

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner made its first appearance at Farnborough today, two years late but never mind.
On Tuesday afternoon it is flying low over the Rolls Royce factory in Derby so the workers can see the
fruits of their labours, will be looking out for it at 17.00 hours, Bernard

Hi Bernard.

You will have to let us know what it sounds like, it's supposed to be very quiet.

I am not sure that I will be booking a ticket for long haul if they use the 3-3-3 seating plan, the 767, 2-4-2 seat plan was great, it meant that you only moved your partner to walk about, not 2 people if you have a window seat on the 3-3-3 configuration

WOW!! What a beautiful aeroplane, watched the new Boeing Dreamliner from our playing field
as he circled the R/R factory at teatime. With my friend Jack and his wife, and my Jack we sat on a bench
waiting for him, We never heard a thing and the plane appearded from nowhere, very very quiet could
hardly hear him, and I understand the new engine is very economical on fuel, the best thing Edward
Heath ever did was to save Rolls Royce in 1971, Bernard
