It looks, from these two cuttings below, that originally Belmont village was a large court of houses just south of where the railway viaduct was (as shown by the pink ellipse), but that later the term was used for a larger area , including the Sailors Return , which is more south , and is marked in red. I am unable to determine exactly where the original court was , as the numbering of the street has changed several times and little remained when the 1880s OS maps were drawn
Same problem - an 1821 burial citing Belmont Village as the address - an 1814 baptism and then another in 1832 for the same family show Watery Lane which is quite near. The burial was at St Marys (a chapelry of St Martins) whereas the 2 baps are under St Martins
