Bell Inn - Bristol Street

Kieron,
You watermark and copyright note identifies the photo as yours, but personally I feel the lower additions possibly hide some things - often of interest - at road level. For instance there is a circular plate on the lower wall of photo 1 but its base? is obscured by the BHF logo. Is the BHF logo really necessary?
I believe the circular item is a fire hydrant plate but maybe for another utility. I know many here do like to scrutinise the photos posted on BHF. Some interesting items have been spotted in the past.

We have gone over this in the past - I am, at least, sharing my images. You only have to ask for some help with a section that is not clear and I will help out ...

Bristol Street - Bell Inn Fire Hydrant.jpg

The upload gets a bit degraded through compression but it does say "Fire Hydrant"

Thank you for that. It is an old style fire hydrant marking plate and post - if it exists it would be a collectors item. The post war yellow plate, with black letter H and figures are more familiar now.
