From another forum:
Regulation 3 of The Humane Trapping Standards Regulations 2019 amended the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 by inserting section 11(2) into that Act, so it now reads
"(2) Subject to the provisions of this Part, a person shall be guilty of an offence if that person—
(a) uses any trap or snare for the purpose of killing or taking or restraining any wild animal included in Schedule 6 or 6ZA;"
Schedule 6 (of the 1981 Act) lists the animals listed in the 1981 Act, and includes badgers, bats, wild cats, otters, hedgehogs, red squirrels and dolphins and porpoises, amongst others. Looking at s.21 of the Act, which was later amended by Schedule 12 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, the maximum penalty upon conviction is a prison sentence of up to 6 months, and/or an unlimited fine.
But I shall be glad when they die a natural death :imp:

And also when I lose my silly hat !!

Being completely unknowledgeable about football I ask this, as perhaps that is why Warren has imposed snowfalls on the forum, so that it is not just him that is miserable

In Parker, Colorado USA We did have light snow yesterday. last night also, but today. "Thanksgiving Day" is SUNNY and very cold. Thanks for all your wishes. Personally, at 88 years young now, I do have a lot to be thankful for, my love of cycling that has given me good health so far in my life. Wonderful family and lifestyle in a beautiful state of the USA. ALSO Thanks to all on this forum, you have made this OldBrit very happy!!!
