I am researching my family....Bartlett. Grandparents, George & Ada lived in Hereford Street, Balsall Heath. I beleive there were a long line of Bartletts that grew up in & around this area?
Is there anyone out there also searching.
Would be gratfeul for any info

I'm not researching the Bartletts, but if you would like us to look up information such as census returns, perhaps you could give a little more info. i.e. what year did George and Ada live in Balsall Heath, what was Ada's maiden name and any idea when they married? I have been unable to find a marriage in Birmingham up to around 1946.

I had a mate Graham Bartlett who's family lived in Belgrave Rd, Balsall Heath in one of the terraces just down from the Belgrave pub. If Graham is still alive today he would be about 69-70 and he wasn't the oldest in the family. I'm sorry but I didn't know any other members of his family.

I am descended from Bartletts, my grandfather was Charles, married to Jane Underhill, his father Alfred married to Leah Taylor, they lived in Highgate Road Alfred died in 1913 but Leah lived until 1953. Alfreds father was William married to a Somerset girl Sarah Ann Notley, and his father was John Bartlett married to Elizabeth Taylor, he was a Malt mill maker and lived in Camp Hill. I have family history but do not recall a George and Ada but you never know.
