Barnett Arthur

Hi to all,
I have just begun to research my family tree with particular interest in my Dad's side (Barnett). My Dad and Nan know very little of my Grandad's family.
Through research I have found that he was born in 1920 in I think Kings Norton. His mother was Elizabeth Eades, his father William Barnett and I think that their is at lease one brother with the name Harry.
Would love any information, particularly so I can fill my family in.

William H Barnett married Elizabeth Eades 1916 .
The Marriage was registered in the Kings Norton district in the September Quarter.
Ref : 6d- 147 .
Quote this number , year and quarter if you wish to purchase marr cert from Birmingham Registery Office.

Children born with the Surname Barnett and M.M.Name -Eades

Joseph W.H Barnett - b . 1918
Arthur G - b. 1920
Eileen M.E - b 1923
Gladys B - b 1927
Sydney C - b 1929

Births Registered in K/ Norton district

I have not given ref numbers for births due to Data Proctection Act

Don’t know if this is new to you, but from electoral rolls:
1920 &1925 Annie Elizabeth & William Edward Barnett 28 Woodlands Park road
After that william edward seems to disappear, but there is an Annie Elizabeth Barnett living at 63 fox Hill up to 1950 (when the online rolls stop). As there is no other annie elizabeth in 1920 and 1925, I would think it a reasonable guess that this is the same one. She is with Cyril Arthur & Reginald edward Barnett in 1930-39 and with reginald Edward in 1945 and 1950

Sounds very much like the same family to me. Reginald looks like my Grandad's brother. I am expressly interested in what happened to the family after Elizabeth Eades death. My Grandad never spoke about it and I believe lost touch with the whole family.
