I would be obliged if someone could check the above for a baptism after the 4th March 1876.The parents were Maria and Theodore Foulger. Maria died 4 days after childbirth on the 8th March. There is not a birth registered but the child may have been Elizabeth/Lizzie Foulger.

Many thanks

Hello and welcome Terry.
Sorry there is no record of a FOULGER birth/baptisim for that date. The only FOULGER births were to parents Leonard and Carrie FOULGER of 69 Digbeth around 1912 listed as Shopkeeper and Hairdresser.

Could you advise me..I have a death cert 1876 Maria Foulger died at 35,Bishop Steet South. Sub district of St Martins. Would you expect a baptism for a child of Maria to be at St Martins?

Thanks in anticipation

Terry I have had a look at the 1871 census then they lived in Barford Street which runs parallel with Bishop Street on the census the district is St Martins but the ecclestical (hope I spelt that right) parish is St Davids which I would think is where the records are. The records I think will be in Central Library. Someone may be able to help more. Good Luck. Wendy.
