Another couple of James Burgoyne photos that haven't appeared on this thread yet .... showing Balloon Street before it was cleared.
The attached "Birmingham Improvement Scheme" map (dated March 1879) indicates the proposed route of Corporation Street, and where Balloon Street was located.

By 1882, there was no one living in Balloon Street, presumably cleared in readiness for the Birmingham Town Improvement Scheme/cutting of Corporation Street.
