My maternal grandmother Emma Elizabeth Bagnall, nee Goode had two sons, James and John (who was known as Jack) Bagnall. After she was widowed she married my grandfather (who was also widowed) and gave birth to two more sons who died in infancy, and a daughter Kathleen Alice, my mother. My mother told me that her two half brothers (who were quite a bit older than her) had emigrated to Canada, probably in the 1920s. I would love to know what happened to them - did they remain in Canada or did they return? Their birth dates, I believe were around 1896 and 1898. Emma Elizabeth died, at the age of 48, and was buried in Aston Parish churchyard.

Re: James & John (Jack) Bagnall

there are canadian passenger lists on ancestry so put in james and john bagnall and approx dob and there are apparently 2 records for a james bagnall and one for john bagnall but it is pay per view. maybe someone has a subscription or perhaps you could just pay to see those records.
