Aston Street/ Lovers Lane..

Nice photo Lyn that would be Lovers Lane Gosta Green the Walk was down by Aston Station. Dek

Actually Lyn and Dek it is LOVE LANE, 22 Aston Road to Dartmouth Street. It adjoined Delta Metals, Dartmouth Street, and if my memory is correct when I worked at Delta, Love Lane was part of the site, but I am not positive about that.

Of course it is Sylvia the sign post and part of the Lane can still be seen in Holt St. Dek

Glad to have helped with Love Lane Lyn. Re the Bulls Head, Pritchett Street, yes my grandad was living there as a 14 year old on the 1891 census, you were kind enough to post a photo which I have, but if you have any others I would love to see them.

i thought so sylv....will post the bull under the pubs thread..its not that old..taken in 1990 so i hope its a new one for you..

Yes I used to walk down lovers walk a lot when I lived in Aston and it did lead onto the Lichfield road by the station. Nice photo Lyn.
