Actually Lyn and Dek it is LOVE LANE, 22 Aston Road to Dartmouth Street. It adjoined Delta Metals, Dartmouth Street, and if my memory is correct when I worked at Delta, Love Lane was part of the site, but I am not positive about that.
hi sylv...thanks for that info..its always good to get feedback from those who knew the area and to correct any wrong captions...sylv im stretching me mind back about 3 years now but am i right in thinking that you have connections with the bulls head pritchett st only ive just aquired a load of old photos and the the bulls head is one of them...will scan and post if you want me to..
Glad to have helped with Love Lane Lyn. Re the Bulls Head, Pritchett Street, yes my grandad was living there as a 14 year old on the 1891 census, you were kind enough to post a photo which I have, but if you have any others I would love to see them.

that means i must have passed you a dozen times in your younger school days as i was always down there myself
either with friends or the very early post rpound with the post man before going to school i used to help him
posting his letters through doors or pushing his bike for him those was the happy care free days i say ? ;
