Two, I have not been on this site for a long time as nobody seemwd to have any thing to add. What a surprise to see the black and white (Snowy and Blacky) on the left hand side of the picture, I have a photo of the pair of them putting their heads through the halters when the bell rang to let them know that they would be attending a fire.
My Grandfather is standing watching them do this as a demonstration for the camera and on the opposite side was the fire chief who is sitting with the reigns and in the light coloured trousers. I have other pictures of the brigade taken in 1909. My Grandfather left there to take up the post of Fire Chiet of Bartley Green in 1911.
