As I said previously 69 was a bit late for me I had moved out of the district by then, but I used the Hamlet from when it opened until then.
I knew Johnny Twyford & his family well, he wasn't that much older than myself and he grew up as a friend of the family. He married a Brummy girl Renie who was a mate of my mothers. I also Knew Dick Clinch ( I thought it was Lynch) I worked for him once when he was foreman at Bryants. You must have know little Danny Mingle and Joe Higgins the Scots lad who lived in the tower block next to the Hamlet. What a snooker player.
