Quite some yearsvago, I dug up a ceramic bottle stopper in my back garden, on the stopper it had:
"A. Broome & Son
Nechells"
I see from your site there is an Arthur Broome, who was a botanical beer brewer in 1915 at 34 Runcorn Road, Balsall Heath.
Please excuse my ignorance, I don't know Birmingham, but I belive Balsall Heath & Nechells are very different places?
Going by your information, by1921 Faulkner Bros occupied those premises.
Does anyone know if Arthur Broome moved to Nechells then?
Or anything about him at all?
The ground where my house is, and the garden I found the stopper in was once used for the yearly fair, and its lovely to think someone enjoyed a drink of ginger ale or similar & had a fun day.
