Arab Cycle Company

I have come across this company while researching Richard John Yates, Suzanne kindly found me his Attestation Papers for 1900. He states he is employed as a polisher for the Arab or could be Atab Cycle Co. in what looks like Parker Street. Any help much appreciated.

Arab Cycle Co., Cycle Mfr. Potter Street.

I've never heard of them either, but they seemed to be popular in New Zealand ( https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/c...ZTR19290627.2.48.7&l=mi&e=-------10--1----0-- )

Thanks Mike, my great grandfather was shown as a bicycle fitter on the 1891 census so probably worked for them, and then his son joined him as a polisher later on. Fascinating name for the company.
