I used to work for M&B fitting jukeboxes etc in pubs. In the ceiling space of the Ivy Bush on Hagley Rd, I found an old framed bar price list titled The Post Horn dated January 1965 (will upload image). Have searched many times but no record of a pub in Birmingham called this.

Anyone recall it?

cheers

Is it from Birmingham? Someone could have brought it in from out of town to compare prices!

Hi Llloyd,

I wondered that too but it has Mitchells and Butlers stamped into the frame.

I have uploaded images of it to a new post, hope I have done it correctly !

Have had a look at the kelly's i have, and no sign of the post horn horn in them for brum, warks, staffs or worcs (dates not very well covered outside Brum). There are a few on the internet but nowhere i would think would be M&B. Did it make clear on the list that the pub was called the Post horn, or could it have been the Post Horn Bar in a pub with coaching connections?

Hi Mike,

it could be that, but so far I can't find anthing about it. I am going to contact M&B and see if they have any info on it
