Anderton family of Brewery Street Handsworth

There appear to have been 5 sons - George, John, Tom, William & Alfred - John emigrated to Canada before 1911 so guessing the picture shows the other 4.

And all 4 seem to have survived the war - how unusual was that I wonder.
