Ancestry announced that they now have records of when WW2 soldiers medals were awarded
My first husbands father was killed in 1945 and buried in Celle.

I looked at the new records and wasn't very impressed, they were awarded to my husbands mother his widow in 1950.

I think they will be relying heavily on researchers sending in the corrections.
