when was at sandwell secondary modern school [right next to west broms football ground]in the early sixties we had two american teachers in three years, did any other schools have teachers from the US ,if yes was it some sort of special exchange programme? i remember they were named mr Holden and mr frazer,i am at the moment trying to write a short history of that period and both these teachers had a profound effect on me and our school, both were very young teachers and may still be alive, if possible i would like to be ableto get in touch with them or their families to find out why brum? and what they got from the experience, any comments or advise would be most useful and gratefully received

there was one I am sure at "Ilmington Road" around the 1961 date named brown we called him "Cookie" or "joe" from the tv series 77 sunset strip.
