Auction sales…Nov 1944

No2 Albert Road, Handsworth…the well-built Freehold Residence, corner of Grove Lane.

Containing Hall, capital dining room, spacious lounge, four pleasant bedrooms, bathroom, excellent domestic quarters. Ample space for garages. Small garden.
 
You do wonder Tim. The road suffered this attack on the morning of February 13th 1941 after a night-time Luftwaffe raid. So by 1944 there would still have been evidence of the attack. Photos from the Shoothill site. Viv.
