A similar, but longer view to that in post #1. I notice some houses have wood clad bays and gables. I remember quite a few 1930s houses having that. Must have been a popular style for the aspiring house owner, lifting those houses above their neighbours without wood cladding!
The photographs show the Birmingham part of Acheson Road, the lower part was the jurisdiction of Solihull UDC. The boundary is a small brook called Shirley Brook. A few roads, in this area were of a similar category.
