Hi,
I am looking for people connected to Albert Henry Berry b:1899 in London father, Albert Berry was a Police Constable. Mother was Mary Berry, they moved to Birmingham sometime soon after his birth. The address was 175, Heath Street, Winson Green. He had a sister Annie Berry b:1897 d:1971, Florence and a brother William.
Albert joined the Lincolnshire Regiment during WW1 and he and my gran Elsie May Richards wrote to each other as sweethearts. We have Alberts letters and wonder if anyone out there has Elsie's. Albert was killed in action on 18th Jan 1918.
Any help apprieciated.
