It reminds me of my mom, she had our dad make a garden in our back yard from three old doors and some bracing wood. We then fetched dirt from the Pec down the street in the coal barrow and mom planted seeds in her new garden. My brother Alan uprooted a sapling growing on the Pec which mum also planted alonside her seedlings. Until then the only thing that grew in our garden was blades of grass between the bricks on the yard, caused by my dad keeping budgies... the birdseed used to get everywhereÂÂ
What a fabulous photo cromwell. Thats just how I remember my Nan & Grand-Dad,s back yard. They lived in Stretton Road, Aston. I recall that yard fondly. BazzM
