A Game Of Three Halves

norfolk brummie

gone but not forgotten
I have just finished read A Game Of Three Halves, by Dennis Shaw.

Some of you may recall Dennis. An excellent journalist and sports writer, who worked for the old Evening Despatch, Birmingham Mail, Sports Argus and Sporting Buff. Dennis was also very involved with, and worked for, both Aston Villa & Birmingham City football clubs.

This delightful book tells many of the 'back room' battles Dennis experienced with players, managers and club officials. Also stories of his coverage of Villa & Blues European football matches.

Anyone interested in football in general, and Midland football in particular, will enjoy this read.

I have no idea where the book can be purchased locally, but I obtained my copy on Amazon.A Game Of Three Halves 001.jpg Eddie

A Game of Three Halves is available on Amazon.co.uk/books ...click onto link above.

Any main bookshop can also obtain copies of it but probably don't have them in stock so there is a short delay whilst they obtain them from the printer. Some of the 'info' at the point of sale on Amazon is incorrect...the book is on sale in one format only...namely new, priced £9.99. Hope that helps...with thanks for your interest.
