276 Bell Barn Road - In 1911

Hi all,
Am tracing family tree and have a relative Daniel Phillips Davies (and his wife Lottie), he was a Beer House Keeper in 1911, living at 276 Bell Barn Road, Birmingham. Does anyone know if this address was a pub, and if so which one, as so far I have found 6 pubs listed as in Bell Barn Road. But I suppose this could just be his home address and he ran a pub which was at another address?
Pubs found so far: Roebuck, Kings Head, Swan Inn, Queens Arms, Grand Junction, Bell Barn Tavern.
cheers,
Dave :)

He describes himself as a beerhouse keeper, and the address is listed as a beer retailer. A beer retailer could either be an off-licence or a beerhouse ( which had a licence to sell only beer and cider). It would seem a bit of a coincidence that a beerhouse keeper was living above an off-licence , but working in a beerhouse elsewhere, so I think it likely that the address is a beerhouse and not an off-licence. The 1901 and 1911 censuses do not list a name, and in the 1891 census the building is a grocers. However the Rates books for Birmingham 1911 list him as being at 276, and that it was a licensed beerhouse and retail stores called the Bellbarn Stores, owned by Ansells. So presumably it was a combination of a beerhouse and off-licence

Thanks for your help Mike and Janice, . . . have found Daniel on the 1911 census, at No.276 Bell Barn Rd, living with his wife Lottie Elwell (whose father was a Licensed Victualler), and they had Daniel's two brothers Henry and William living with them. 'Bellbarn Stores', the beerhouse/off-licence/shop sounds good to me, no wonder I couldn't match the address up with any of the known local pubs, which is a pity 'cos there are photos of them online, but I don't think I'll find a photo of No.276, with it only being a shop.
Mike - He's not at Bell Barn on the 1901 census because he then lived at 64 Lozells Rd, in Aston Manor, working as a tobacconist shopkeeper.

Just to make it clear. When I said there was no name in the 1901 and 1911 census, I meant no pub name listed
