2 Ina Place, Unett Street.

William Tracey

knowlegable brummie
Hi Can anyone help with an address. 2 Ina Place, Unett Street. It is on my relatives 1915 enlistment papers. I have looked as best I cannot but find it. In 1921 they were in 2/214 Unett Street. Is this the same place.
Many Thanks

Are you sure you have the correct second address, as borh 1950s maps and electoral rolls show Unett street as only being numbered up to 179

You are correct. Just checked the 1921 address page. It is 2/124 Unett Street and not as Find My Past has it on its Transcript page.

They are the same, as seen on the 1950s map below. In fact it seems to have entrance in Well st also Iin the electoral roll of 1920 it is listed as Cottage Row, and on the 1880s map as Court 23. so seems to ha e variety of names . The 1902 electoral roll lists william and amelia alnsworth at no 2
