Thanks...I have Ancestry ( £13.99/month) and havent seen 1945 and when I tick 1940,s I get something like Bedfordshire...lol.
Looking for Ivy May Bayley.....got her in 1939 register ( when 16) and she should be old enough to vote in 1945. Trying to see where she lived if in Brum but also if she was staying with relatives in Newcastle Under Lyme.
Ivy M Bayley with Lucy M Yardley, Norman Hall and Arthur Ghest. Although I am not certain this is the right person as in 1950 she is listed as Ivy May not Ivy M
I have her with and without May in different list i.e. marriage or residing. Also in 1950 an Ivy M Bayley in a back of house with a man and woman in mosely st But as you say no way of knowing if its the correct person.
