Hi, can anyone help? can you please have a look to see which kind of shop this was from 1930ish to late 30s.
electoral roll in 1930 shows Elsie Myra Farmer, William Horace Farmer, Frederick Herbert Cobb & Mabel Emily Cobb. Kellys does not behave for me at all with searching, I am sure it deliberatley tries to confuse me! Any pointers would be of great help. Many thanks

Shera, thank you so much for the info, it is a great help in tracking down my wifes family tree & more importantly adding some social history, thanks once again.

I have a slight addition to that. In addition to Peacock Cobb & Co, for part of the time there was also another business listed at 185 in Kellys. (in addition to 185A, which is listed separately on the electoral roll).
The other business varied but was :
1932 Spence Thos. Fras. Linoleum warehouse
1933-1936 Worster R. H. grocer
1937 No other listed than PC&Co
1938- after 1949 Pittaway's, radio dlrs. PC & Co still there
