Hi Shera,
Many thanks for looking up the info for me, I'm hoping that this is my great, great grandfather that came over from Genoa Italy, all other records I have for him are in Inverness, Scotland, and this marriage in St Martins to Mary Ann Kennedy is a bolt from the blue, even his descendants still in Inverness, believe him to come straight over from Italy to Inverness.
He was born in 1811 in Genoa, so he would be around 20 when he married Mary Ann Kennedy, can you confirm this? plus I have his trade as a basketweaver.
Also is there any information as to his parents names and trades, on the certificate.
Again many thanks in advance for taking the time to look up the relevant information for me, it is much appreciated.

hello again nev

no there is no further info on the certificate. it was only later years that they added the ages and fathers plus occupations etc. its strange that he did state "of this parish", but i suppose he met mary ann in bham so was living there for a while. sorry cant help any further as he was born in italy so dont know where you would get his details. it seems he may have taken the name joseph which is the english equivalent of guiseppe.
