10 Bull Ring.

Davenport

master brummie
I have a distant relative who married in June 1931 at St Martin’s Parish church.
She gives her address as 10 Bull Ring on the marriage certificate.
I presume this was a residential address and wonder how it fits into the market / retail area that I know of ?
Thanks.

The 1932 Kellys , which would refer to 1931 lists no 10 as C.Green & Son, leather workers., though there likely could also be a flat above the shop

I also assumed that it was mainly a commercial and shop area so the flat above does seem the most plausible explanation.
Her surname was Sneath she was a salesperson, and her Father‘s profession was coach painter.
Thanks for the map.
Thank you for your help.

I also found that Oliver and Lizzie lived at the same address on the 1939 register. So either she used the address she worked at to get married at St Martins or she had moved out (less likely I would have thought in 1931).
