‘Patches in the Bullring’

New Member
My ancestors were the Scarrott family (3x great grandfather, Thomas Emmanuel Scarrott born Birmingham 1820). A very early post in this website mentioned that the Scarrott owned/had ‘Patches in the Bullring’. In the context of the time, early to mid 1800s, what would that mean?
