    Railway Tavern Sutton Coldfield

    Does anyone know if the Railway Tavern in Hackett St Sutton Coldfield is now the Station pub on Station St. I am sure I read somewhere that Station St used to be Hackett St. One of my distant cousins is listed on the 1881 census as Hotel manager of the Railway Tavern. Many thanks.

    Station Pub in Sutton Coldfield.

    Hi All, Does anybody know when the Station pub in Sutton Coldfield (Station street) was built? The railway station was completed in 1862, so I am presuming that it was built alongside it? Does anyone have any information on the history of the pub, or can direct me to a source? I did a quick...
