    Owen Family, Devon Street, 1925-1938

    Hi Does anyone know anything at all about the Owen family, Devon Street, 1925 to 1938 please? Or an accident at the gasworks circa 1927 (a leak, rather than an explosion)? Trying to find information about my grandfather Thank you

    The Crown Inn, Broad Street

    Many years ago (when the place was a proper pub!) I remember seeing high up on the wall in one of the bars a brass plate commerating the exact spot where the tallest man in Birmingham had reached. The event took place in the 19th century. Anyone know what happened to the plate?
