    The Crown Inn, Broad Street

    Many years ago (when the place was a proper pub!) I remember seeing high up on the wall in one of the bars a brass plate commerating the exact spot where the tallest man in Birmingham had reached. The event took place in the 19th century. Anyone know what happened to the plate?
