    Yes Lyn, Cramlington was also an airfield in north east of england, Calshot and cardington also RAF bases.

    Hi, I lived in Turnberry road, great barr, and most of the roads around were named after airfield`s ( Duxford, Thetford, Foden, Mildenhall and Turnberry.

    I remember miss doogood , I was in miss Best`s class and do you remember the large enamel jugs and plastic cups for our hot cocoa in the mornings, my later class was with mr Francis who`s catchphrase was " you have been warned you will be warmed "reference to being caned .

    Hi, I lived at 104 from 1947 until 1996 and went to Perry Beeches , the cottage stores in beeches road before the new build was a cottage and had a wishing well in the front garden.
